New Delhi: Bollywood's quintessential girl-next-door, Shraddha Kapoor is loaded with some plum deals. The latest about the actress is that she has dropped out of 'Saina Nehwal biopic' after training hard to play the ace shuttler on-screen.

Yes! According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Shraddha has a packed calendar and due to date clash, the actress is unable to devote her time to the sports drama. Quoting a source, the report states that Shraddha has movies like 'Chhichhore', Remo D'Souza's 'Street Dancer 3D', 'Saaho' with Prabhas and 'Baaghi 3' with Tiger Shroff in the pipeline.

Despite trying hard to accommodate, the actress was unable to avoid a date clash. Therefore, after deciding mutually, the gen-next star decided to leave the project and now the buzz is that Parineeti Chopra will be replacing her.

Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror saying, “We want to wrap up Saina by this year-end for an early 2020 release, so going ahead with the project is a decision taken by mutual consent. We are glad Parineeti has come on board for the film. Saina has made every Indian proud and we can’t wait to take her story to the world in the year of the Olympics.”

Earlier, Shraddha's first look from the movie was released and it created quite a flutter on social media. She trained hard for her part and was even down with dengue while shooting the movie.

Now, Parineeti has stepped in and we are sure the fans are going to be equally excited to watch her play the badminton star on 70mm screens.

The Saina Nehwal biopic is helmed by Amol Gupte.

'Dilbar' song became a rage and made Nora a household name. The remix version featured in John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee starrer movie 'Satyamev Jayate'.

Originally, it starred Sushmita Sen in Sanjay Kapoor starrer 'Sirf Tum' which released in 1999. The remix version has been sung by Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanusali and Ikka.

Both Varun and Nora's dance moves are super awesome. We can clearly expect some mind-blowing dance steps in 'Street Dancer 3D'.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor's personal life has grabbed more limelight than her professional life. The actress is rumoured to be dating Bollywood photographer Rohan Shreshtha and if the reports are anything to go by, Shraddha will tie the knot her boyfriend this year.

According to a report published in DNA, a source close to the actress has revealed, “Shraddha Kapoor has been dating Rohan Shrestha for over a year now. They have known each other for the longest time but they have only started dating sometime in 2018. Shraddha had come out of a failed relationship with Farhan and now wants to settle down.”

Earlier, Shraddha was reportedly dating Farhan Akhtar. However, things didn't work out between the two and now Farhan is happily dating Shibani Dandekar.

If all goes well, Farhan will tie the knot with Shibani. He revealed his marriage plans on a chat show. When Shibani asked him about their marriage date, he answered saying, "May be April or April be May." 

On the work front, Shraddha is shooting for Street Dancer alongside Varun Dhawan in London.

Speaking to Spotboye, Shakti said, "Bullsh**t. There is no truth to it. Shraddha has no plans of marrying anyone for coming 4-5 years. New Delhi: The acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, whose biopic titled 'Chhapaak' is being made by Meghna Gulzar starring Deepika Padukone, grooved to a song featuring Shraddha Kapoor. Laxmi danced to the song 'Cham Cham' from 'Baaghi' and the video is adorable.

Mumbai: Actress Parineeti Chopra has been devoting two hours daily to watch match footage and public appearance videos of Saina Nehwal to get into the mind of the ace badminton player.

The "Ishaqzaade" actress has been prepping intensely for the character to ensure she is able to get Nehwal's mannerisms and body language as well as how she conducts herself on and off the court, on point.

"I am a visual learner," Parineeti said of her preparation, in a statement.

"The most important advice that I got from my entire training team, Amole Gupte sir and everybody was that I must watch Saina's matches. I haven't watched that many badminton matches and I really want to play exactly the way she plays.

"So, watching her matches how she drops her foot, how she uses her hand, how she uses her racket, her aggression on the court that is something that I really want to imbibe as a part of my personality. So, I have to watch all her matches and videos," she added.

Produced by T-Series' Bhushan Kumar and Divya Khosla Kumar, the biopic is set to release next year.

'Saaho' is bankrolled by UV Creations, T-Series, and Dharma Productions. It features Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay and Evelyn Sharma in the lead roles.

The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. This also marks Shraddha's maiden move into south films. This is the first time that Prabhas and Shraddha will be seen together on-screen.

The film is reportedly being made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore and will hit the screens on August 15, 2019.

Team Sahoo is shooting for the film in Mumbai and have plans to wrap it up in the city. In fact, this is where the cast and crew began shooting for the film and finally, they are wrapping it up here only. Mumbai: Actress Shraddha Kapoor is shooting for the next schedule of her upcoming film "Saaho" in Karjat in Maharashtra.

Shraddha took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday and posted a boomerang video of her travelling.

She captioned it: "Karjat time! `Saaho`."

"Saaho" also stars "Baahubali" actor Prabhas. "Saaho" is set to hit the screens on Independence Day on August 15 next year.

The film is being shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. It promises to provide a pan-India appeal.

Apart from Shraddha and Prabhas,"Saaho" also has an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma, amongst others.

It has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Director of photography Madhie has lent his creativity to the film, with veteran Sreekar Prasad as the editor and Sabu Cyril as the production designer.

A UV Creations production, the film will be presented by T-Series and its Hindi distribution is being taken care of by AA Films.
 

New Delhi: Shraddha Kapoor has some interesting projects in her kitty. One of the movies titled 'Chhichhore' is up for release in four months dn the makes dedided to share a small sneak-peek video ahead of its release.

Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari has helmed by the project.

It features Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead and Shraddha Kapoor plays the female lead. It is slated to hit the screens on August 30, 2019. The romantic comedy-drama is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Prateik Babbar, Siddharth Narayan, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prashant Narayanan and Tushar Pandey amongst various others play supporting roles.

Mumbai: Actress Shraddha Kapoor has resumed dance rehearsal for "Street Dancer" after finishing the shooting for the upcoming trilingual "Saaho". The actress has uploaded a video as her Instagram story and has captioned it: "Back to it. #StreetDancer rehearsals."

The actress is also running a tight schedule, hopping from one set to another, slipping into a range of characters to ace her parts. She is playing diverse characters this year. 

In "Saaho", Shraddha will be seen in an action avatar as she is essaying the role of a police official, while "Chhichhore" will test her versatility as she is doing double role of a college student and a middle-aged woman. "Street Dancer" will showcase the actress in a complete new dance avatar. 

The actress is likely to have multiple releases this year, including "Baaghi 3".
 

Mumbai: A sequel to Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer horror comedy "Stree" is likely to go on floors next year with the same cast. 

"Stree", also featuring Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana, was one of the most commercially-successful and critically-acclaimed films of 2018.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film was set in small town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, where an evil spirit named 'Stree' abducts men in the night during festival season. It was based on the urban legend of "Nale Ba" that went viral in Karnataka in the 1990s.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, "Stree" had earned Rs 180 crore worldwide. 

A source close to the project said the sequel is currently in the scripting stage.

"It will happen next year. We are working on the script. There are few ideas for 'Stree 2'. The expectations are high on 'Stree 2', so the team wants to give their best shot as we are not in a hurry to make it," the source said.

The core cast of "Stree" will be returning for the sequel, it added.

Meanwhile, Rao is set to star in another horror-comedy, "Rooh-Afza", backed by Vijan's Maddock Films banner. 

The film, which also features Janhvi Kapoor, will revolve around a singing ghost who puts grooms to sleep so it can possess their brides. 

"Rooh-Afza" will reportedly share the same universe with "Stree".
